NBA 2K22 Rooftop Courts: City Slam Mode Complete Details

NBA 2K22 Rooftop Courts

For the first time in NBA 2K franchise history, MyCareer players on Next Gen finally have a way to play park games – thanks to City Slam mode. For those looking for some rewards and competition but don’t want an online matchmaking experience with other people who may not be able or willing participate at all times like you are (or just simply need more challenging content), here’s how this new single-player rooftop game works.

NBA 2K22 Rooftop Courts City Slam Mode Explained

The new content for NBA 2K22 Season 3: Iced Out includes the City Slam mode, which introduces a questline in Meet The Hoopers. Each of these five single player rooftop parks games will unlock better AI teammates with their own ratings and archetypes depending on what Affiliation they’re from; each one having its own different story to tell about how it became such an iconic spot within that city’s culture or sports team history (e.g., New York Knicks).

After completing all 25 Affiliation challenges and convincing streetballers to join their team, players will be able compete in the final City Slam tournament. Here they have a variety of different challenges against increasingly elite opponents that can only get more difficult as you progress through them by winning higher tier rewards including an ultimate championship belt for being declared champion!

Overall, the new mode isn’t exactly a park matchmaking system that The Old Gym and Pro-Am 3v3 modes have offered. However it’s pretty solid addition for those looking to test out or grind their newly built creations on top floors of Penthouse apartments in GTA Online Heists DLC pack with friends (4 player minimum).
