Get Better Pickaxe
You have to have either a stone or better pickaxe so stone iron or diamond if you want to know where to find iron it is between 1 and 63 so the sea level is level 62 so this means anywhere from sea level down you can find iron ore there are higher concentrations of it lower down but you can find it anywhere from sea level down and also if you understand how chunks work in Minecraft so chunks are basically how the world is divided they’re divided into 16 by 16 areas all the way from bedrock up to the sky and there are 77 ores per a chunk
Actually very similar to nether quartz also they’re very much the same and the other thing to know is that iron ore will generate anywhere where the stone would be so if there’s a spot where you know gravel is or what dirt is there’s obviously not going to be any iron ore in there also it generates in veins so it generates in four to ten ores pervade.
Venus is obviously groups of the block the other thing to note is that when you actually mine the iron ore it’ll drop iron ore which will have to smelt into blocks I believe you get point seven XP for smelting it but this means you can’t use something like a fortune to actually get more drops so that was iron ore in Minecraft I hope that was helpful for you guys and at least understanding where to find iron ore and anything else you need to know about it
